SPOILER!!: Group Homework Our group decided that the Statute is still needed. Although with the Statute muggles and wizards would be able to help each other it's a big risk to take. The statute was made because muggles try to take advantage of wizards for their powers and also there is a risk of wizards using their powers to harm muggles. In our opinions it's still as effective as it once was because everyone is taking such precautions and we have not exposed magic as a whole. Muggles may get lazy because they realize that magic is a more officiant way of getting things done and they might try and use us for our magic. My group thinks it's better off if we don't expose magic to muggles because it may risk a war between muggles and wizard kind. And we haven't had a problem with the Statute being in place and it's been working so long. She smiled as she held up the piece of parchment for her friends to see. "So what do you guys think?
