In his messy, wrinkled clothes (much thanks to the maze he'd visited earlier) that were both too small and too large for him, and his messy lion's mane... Well, he looked like something straight out of a fairytale as well, as a jester or a lost little boy. Not necessarily prince charming.
"Hmmmm..." As Charlie asked where they were headed, Braeden's expression turned a little thoughtful. Weeeeellllll... he hadn't had anything to eat since that morning, so he was kind of starving. No, really starving. "Do you mind if we go get some food?" asked the boy, turning to his shorter companion. "Are you hungry?" He didn't want to force her to go accompany him to eat or something if that wasn't what she wanted to do. And, of course, Charlie's wishes always came before his own. At least to the boy.
It was then that the Gryffindor noticed the smirk gracing Charlie's kissable lips. Uh-oh. "Wha'... what're you thinking?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her, his gaze turning wary. She looked a little scary; she wasn't plotting to... push him into the frozen lake or something, right?!
Just then, Charlie's stomach growled loudly, "Well I guess that answers your question, huh?" She laughed heartily, her arm wrapped around her rough looking prince's. "Upper or lower tables? I hear both have an amazing selection." Her stomach growled again, but quieter.
Good, because that was embarrassing. She glanced at her tummy. Shhh.
Charlie heard trepidation in Brae's voice, "Nothing at all my Prince, nothing at all." Her statement wasn't probably helped by the smirk that, once again scrolled across her lips. To try and dispell his fear, she kissed his cheek and took his hand. "Come one!" Laughing, Charlie began to drag Braeden, her dress billowing behind her.
