Even when she mentioned the horses, there was a small glance spared to them before his eyes returned to her. "Not quite as beautiful as you." Sappy, but oh so true.
The blush that never really went away when he first complemented her rose again as she turned her grin on him, not surprised to meet his gaze.
"Did you even look at the horses?" She really didn't think so. Slowing, she wrapped her arm around his waist, still peeking up at him.
"You don't have to keep complementing me. But do think I should say you look handsome in your costume."
