The Beginning... 
Lily ran a hand through her hair, frantically it seemed as she waited to see if she could find any of her friends and let them know that well he wasn't half bad as it were. She was standing in the most precarious place for Lily Evans. The exact middle of the quidditch pitch - not even with a broom in hand if she had a broom on hand that would have looked even more odd.
It was the first week of school the first years all sorted and well she wanted to scream at the top of her lungs because something in her life had changed and made it all Topsy-turvy - like her life was balanced on a see-saw. "Brilliant this is just brilliant -" she glared at the ground in front of her and began pacing. She knew exactly who she wouldn't tell - well the few people she wouldn't tell. That was simply James, and more importantly Snape. He hated him - and with good cause but she hated Snape because of how he had treated her at the end of the school year.
And he had the audacity to say she could stay with him over the summer. Dream on.
