What kind of question was that?! "Well I'm definitely for it." she muttered, sitting back up straight before opening her notebook once more.
Sierra paused for a moment and then shrugged her shoulders.
"I've been paying about as much attention to the lesson as you have," she admitted with a laugh. Although, she hadn't been asleep. She'd just been daydreaming--about sleeping. After history class, she really wanted to return to the common room, sprawl out across her bed, and sleep for a few hours.
"For it...against it...and what would happen if we did or didn't keep it," Sierra suggested, although, that was really just a guess. At least if they were on topic, they wouldn't get caught not participating in the lesson. Merlin knew they didn't need to lose anymore points at this point.
"So I wonder what would happen if it was no longer in effect. In another class, we talked about how the muggles burned us at the stake years and years ago before the Statute was in effect," Sierra thought aloud.
"Maybe we're better prepared this go round, though..."
