Probably more disappointed that they didn't have enough time to make us their lab rats. And... UFOs? They won't think we're some kind of aliens, would they? Okay, this conversation got waaay too messed up in Helena's head.
Kurumi nodded as she listened to Helena speak. Kurumi agreed that it probably wouldn’t make her angry, but she would be mortified at the fact that she had been so blind.

Aaaaaaaa-HA. Jake found someone. He stood up and looked down at Neptune, gesturing for her to come with him as he went and sat with Salander and that first year girl he knew from his party and Gevrik's office. "Hey guys. Mind if I'm in your group?"
Kurumi bowed her head at Jake when he came to their table. She had only met him briefly over the summer at the party where she had mistaken Professor Bishop for his mother. Kurumi’s cheeks turned bright pink at remembering that incident. Hopefully no one would misinterpret the action. Just to be safe, Kurumi covered her cheeks with her hands and leaned her elbows on the table. “
You are welcome to, Jake,” Kurumi smiled bowing her head again slightly.

He was about to answer her next question when he looked up at the familiar voice of a Gryffindor blonde "Hey there Lexi!" he smiled and thought she made valid points with her comment. Just as he was about to speak up again she said something quickly and walked away. Eh whaa? He made the motion of following her but by then it was too late. Settling back down into his seat, he glanced momentarily at Kurumi and gave a tiny shake of his head Dont worry about it, I'll talk to her later.
He turned his head again on hearing Jake speak up. Herbal tea with the hottie Prof alone? Not if Salander can do something about that "Hey Jake!..." he called out, motioning with his head for him to join them ".... we got a vacant seat, you can join us." and if the Professor would like to join them so much the better heh.
Ok lying leaders and Area 51.... yeah totally familiar territory here "Conspiracy theorists have been claiming for centuries that the Federal Government have been keeping lots of secrets from the public since the birth of the United States. And they're right too, even if their theories are way off." he laughed "Ministry of Magic in the States is hardly flawless and with every screw-up they either release some kind of disinformation campaign even more lame or outlandish than the truth... that or sell the idea to Hollywood to turn into a movie or tv series." he snickered. "In any case, most Muggles never really figured out what the real story is, and even if they do realize that something as outrageous as a whole Magical race turning up overnight, I'm pretty sure a good lot of them would just shrug their shoulders and take it in stride. Its the extremists that you have to worry about-- minor parties who dont take too well to changes. They're usually the most outspoken, most violent ones."
Salander glanced up at the board when the Professor outlined their homework. Huh... hello again Statute. " 'Is it still effective as it was'....." he murmured as he read the board "NO. It aint effective cuz it doesnt work. 'Shuda scrapped that thing years ago if not completely re-written it." he nodded firmly. All this talk of the Statute from practically every class has finally gotten him to voice out his true sentiments on the matter.
Kurumi’s thoughts about Salander’s response to her Area 51 subject were distracted by Professor Welton writing their homework on the board. The first three questions were simple enough, but when it came to the longer question Kurumi felt like taking her textbook and whacking herself in the face with it several times – well, at least until she was unconsciousness. This discussion about the Statute was causing her more stress than classes were, not to mention making her reexamine her entire relationship with her mother and those who had tortured her all through her years prior to coming to Hogwarts. Kurumi giggled at Salander’s outburst at the homework. “[b]I agree[/s],” Kurumi said nodding. “
The current Statute was established in 1692 and the world is a very different place from what is was back then. There are no more witch burnings or people being punished in such terrible fashions. Personally, I think it is a disgrace to those who died during the Second Wizarding War due to the acts of Dark Wizards as being dismissed as accidents caused by the weather or a loose screw on a bridge.” Sure, that would also mean that non-magical people would in turn be deathly afraid of everything magical, but there were evil people in the world who didn’t have magical powers. It was unfair to lump all witches and wizards into the Dark category just because Voldemort and his followers were among those.
