Hearing the apprehension in the boy's voice, Emmaleigh shifted uncomfortably in her seat, and looked up.
"I, I, um." she said, trying to figure out what to say. She sighed.
"I told you at the very beginning that I was uncomfortable with all this." She looked down at her plate, thinking. She didn't want to hurt his feeling more than she already had. After all, it wasn't his fault that she couldn't accept the idea of dating. It was quite honestly the famous cliche.
