"Oh, better and worse," Eirian admitted, sighing. She clasped her hands over his and kissed his forehead. "You are too sweet, filho. Why were you looking for me?" She stooped to unlace her skates and stepped off of the ice, over to where she had put her big, furry boots. Pulling them on, she threw an arm around Cass. "I will help you back when we are done talking, okay?" With a smile and a wink, she guided the boy to a cleared bench and sat down. "What is up?"
