After regaining his composure, Braeden figured he might as well be nice and ask the newcomer if he was alright; however, before a word could leave his lips, the tall young man was speaking with such venom in his voice and wrath in his tone that Braeden recognized him right away. Amadeus Kipling. Now Braeden's face lit up and he eagerly offered his friend a hand. "Deus! Are you alright!?" he asked, flashing his friend one of his lopsided smiles, though there was a hint of concern in the brown of his eyes. "Merlin, mate. What are you on, a suicide mission?"
Amadeus rose an eyebrow at the familiar voice. At the student's use of his nickname, face contorted into such a mask of rage that woodland creatures, like Bambi and Thumper and their little friends, would be terrified at the sight of the angered seventh year. "No. I am
not alright. Far from it, Stonem." He seemed to hiss out his words, the Slytherin in his personality making an appearance. Placing his feet firmly on the ice, he sprang up, his fists clenched. The Gryffindor was in for it. Now that Amadeus had finally found Braeden, his mission was one of murder rather than suicide.
"Did you know that I sent you
forty-seven owls?" He spoke viciously. Thankfully, he had left his wand in his dorm, so no magical harm would be done to anyone in the vicinity if Amadeus became too riled up. "Where
have you been?" His narrowed, blue eyes traveled once more to the girl on the ice and he pursed his lips. "Acting like a hussy, I see?" The Ravenclaw crossed his arms over his chest and shot daggers at Braeden, who was a mere few feet away.
