From the sixth floor bathroom, the Slytherin lad strolled down the fifth floor trying to see if the brass compass worked. The needle would move from time to time but not by a whole lot. He found himself by the statues not far from the Weasley swamps that got him to grin. Laying the brass compass by the foot of the statues, Salander crouched over the compass. So far its kept its form, from which he was relieved. He practiced the wand movement in the air and whispered the spell a few times, before uttering
"Comletia" again. Once again the compass turned on its edge and spun blindly before landing back on the ground with a soft THUD and spun to a halt-- it looked like it transformed into a
slim wooden box.
Puzzled, Salander picked up the box and flipped it open to reveal the brass compass within. Well that sure turned out a bit different. Satisfied with the outcome nonetheless, the Slytherin lad made his way down the corridor, staring at the new compass as he went....
