Dallin had been making himself stay quiet so far, but now he couldn't contain himself. What was wrong with learning about muggles? Just because they were a magic school didn't mean that muggles weren't important or whatnot... and that might be the point that they were trying to make. Maybe not. Anyway.

His hand shot up into the air. "Dallin McKinley." he said shortly, introducing himself before going onto what he wanted to say, in response to that girl. "And I don't really have a question, more of a comment. " That was okay, right? "Well, kind of a question, I guess. Anyway. Um, so I'm muggleborn, and so are two of my sisters. So of course my parents and my other sisters know about magic and the wizarding world, even though they're muggles."

Right. "But I was kind of wondering; what keeps them from not talking about it? Do you think it's just some moral thing, that they don't want to seem weird for saying it exists? Or are they somehow included in our secrecy thing? Or do they have their own? Ya know what I mean?" Probably not, since Dal was rambling, and he hardly ever made sense when he rambled.
