She might have scooted over an itty bitty teensy bit. Did.... he want to sit with her.....? Neptune wasn't going to ask though. She wasn't really even SURE what sort of boyfriend/girlfriend they were. In fact, she wasn't ENTIRELY sure how to act around him when they were alone.
Like now.
Sort of made her nervous.
"Of course I did," Jake beamed back, but neglected to point how he noticed what most people called 'little things' all the time. Big changes sometimes easily escaped his notice.
But yeah.
It didn't matter.
As soon as Neptune scooted up a bit, Jake went over to sit THERE instead, making sure she still had space and he wasn't squishing her, because that was never pleasant. Heh.
"So," the young man said, leaning back in the chair to get comfortable and rest his head properly before turning his body slightly to face Neptune to show she had his full attention. "What's happening?"
Now he was here, it reminded Jake of something. How much he truly NEEDED something.
