At the risk of sounding negative, I say it's the least they can do. Ten years and they have not awarded a BAFTA to HP. Tech noms are a no brainer too HP is stunning and obviously deserves recognition for special effects and art. But, why not notice HP for writing, directing and acting too! I expect the arrogance out of the American academy but I have long expected better from BAFTA.
