WHAT!? He was thinking about breaking up with Mina? But WHY? Remembering the chat they had not long ago she had a feeling she knew why. "Does this have anything to do with that Gryffindork prefect?" She really didn't need to hear his answer to know she was the reason but she wanted him to admit it if she was.

Chuckling softly, Evan said "I'm flattered." It was great he had her, at least, in all the craziness of his life. He was definitely in need of a true friend like her.

Running a hand through his hand out of stress, he said "Yes, she's the main reason." He sighed. It hurt to admit this, but he had to say it out loud at some time.

"I don't think she'll come back, Marie." He wasn't going to let Marie blame Sophie now. Because it was unfair. Mina didn't seem to be doing anything about it, so why should he try? "I don't even think she's trying." He shook his head as he let out another sigh, trying to cover up the slight tremble of his voice.

"I think I do like Sophie seriously. She likes me too. And I don't want to hurt her by waiting for someone that isn't even... trying." A few breaths there. "Mina is perfect. But... I don't know."

Turning his head towards her again, he waited for her reply. He'd pretty much rambled, and he had skipped over Sebastian issue. But it seemed like they were staying here for a while, and he had the time to talk about Sebby. It was more important to clear Sophie's name for now.
