She let the skates lose momentum until she stopped, then slowly turned around. Now she could go the other way for a bit. And she pushed off again.
Wow. Arya was...athletic. "You play Quidditch then?" Because to Ellie, flying=Quidditch. "I haven't ridden anything but a broomstick. Or climbed anything but a ladder. This holiday, however, Dad said we can go climb a mountain." Everest.
And then she'll have to tell Little Professor all about it.
"Inside activities are fun. Gobstones, Exploding Snap..." Wizarding Chess was NOT on that list, though. That was far too complicated, and Ellie simply didn't have enough patience to learn.
Arya couldn't help but laugh along with Ellie.
"That they do, dad keeps my mom from doing anything too crazy, and mom makes sure my dad doesn't do too much work." Funny how opposites attract. Her dad would spend all day in his study if her mom didn't force him out. And her, she was always able to get him out of that room.
"Your doing good." She commented lightly. Good enough that Arya didn't even think the younger girl needed her help.
Quickly she shook her head.
"Nooo, never. Not my cup of tea." Her brothers, and apparently a good few of her friends.
"I meant horses when I said ridding, and I climb trees all the time, sometimes I do rock climbing." She preferred trees though.
"That sounds like an awesome holiday trip though."
Arya had to giggle at their bit of miscommunication.
"I was speaking more of muggle activities and sports when I said that, though those games are fun as well." She nodded her head while doing a quick spin.
"My dad is trying to teach me wizards chess." And had been for a while now.
