Braeden shot him a glare before beginning to pick up his books and turning to Evangeline with a pale face. "And you're trying to kill me from a heart attack again, aren't you?" asked the boy in response, though there was amusement behind his brown eyes. "What brings you here, Hollywood? Don't tell me you're stalking me now!" he accused playfully, a lopsided grin adorning his expression.
As she had expected, he hadn't noticed her arrival, and like usual jumped up in fright. "Sorry 'bout that." She said with a smirk, looking down at all of his books that were on the ground. Oops. "Well, that was my intention." She said, and smiled at the portrait that was laughing. "Oh, don't flatter yourself Braeden." She said, teasingly of course. "I was going to my common room, that or finding something of interest. Scaring you again seemed good enough." She said. "Besides, what are you doing here? Apart from being made fun of by a portrait, that is."
