Yes, the boy sat down in front of Arya, "I--haven't taken Arithmancy since...ever," that was a good way to start, "And for some reason I failed to take notes during class," distractions, of course, "So, what exactly are we supposed to do?" he had no problems with questions and interpretations, he had issues with the method. Clearly.
Taking a seat in front of Treyen, her mouth formed into a small 'O'. Well, this was going to be interesting, wasn't it.
"I...took it a last term?" Like...once or twice.
"And I took plenty of notes in class, so no worries there. I just hope we do this right." Cause if not there was no one around to let them know.
What are they supposed to do?
Pulling her notebook out of her satchel, and opened it up to the most recent notes, eyes scanning it twice before looking back up at Treyen.
"Okay...we're suppose to ask each other questions, then shake the numbered sticks and draw one and our partner interprets the result based upon the meanings and vibrations associated with the number." She had to glance back at her notes to finish describing the homework, but when she was done, she glanced back at Treyen.
"Not to hard, I don't think..." Goodness she hoped they did this right.
"We can go back and forth with this. You ask me a question and interpret my sticks, and I'll do the same for you."
