"Hey," he said gently, scooting away from the crying girl, but turning to face her. He fiddled with the hem of his shirt, forcing himself to look at the girl. "Hey, you shouldn't cry." Because it's really freaking me out. "I... uh, I don't know what's wrong, and I'm sure it's sad," Yeah, that would help. "But you're, uh, really pretty. And you shouldn't cry."
