As doves about breath, vulture to carrion - or journalist looking of a story -, the aurors were off Theo and onto Astrid in no time. Theo heard all of it, her recount of facts, with his mouth hanging open, not able to take every word of it. Was she inventing it? Or did she really saw a... hairy bird... it looks riddiculous! How would such a thing get into the Commons? Even if he was dismissed by the Aurors he didn't move. His hunger temporary forgotten, he paid attention to what was being said... "How?" was the only thing he could muster.

He turned momentarily, catching the eye of a Gryffindor girl who had found her way inside the Commons and had been unsuccessfully trying to call for Astrid's attention (that was, before Astrid was being harrassed by the Aurors). Just wait a sec! There was something wrong with this picture - Another one, and a Gryffindor at that! How can Professor Snape let it happen?

He turned to Snape and saw he didn't look to happy himself - though no one could say exactly of what about... He also looked kind of worried...

He catched Astrid's eyes now, seeing the worried look on her too. So it must be true, he thought. He decided he would have a talk to his Head of House later to ask for details and reassurance. He didn't know what to think or feel. He felt his space invaded, that is, with so many Gryffindors and Ravenclaws and Huflepuff peeking and entering! It was starting to get on his nerves - and, no, this is the last straw!

Was that... Ron Weasley? The Ron Weasley in the Slytherin Commons?!
