After the 3rd film, ALL the new characters introduced in the films were given no characterization of their own whatsoever. They're dropped in for convenient plot points here and there but forgotten otherwise. Tonks, Lupin, Fleur, Bill, Kingsley, Greyback, heck, the entire Order of the Phoenix was pretty much shunted to the side once that movie was done....of the long, twisted rant I could go on about how much the films have mangled the characters we've come to love for over 10 years.
