Placing her butterbeer on the table carefully, she then seated herself and grabbed her journal. She began writing ideas down for Sel's present.
Braeden had to slither his way like a snake through the ridiculous crowd taking up every inch of The Hog's Head in his mission to reach the bar. Geez, when did this place get so popular? Weren't people scared of finding spiders or other nasty bugs in their glasses? Or maybe they were just here for the same reason he was - The Three Broomsticks had simply far too many little first and second years getting in everyone's way.
After getting his butterbeer from the bar, Braeden turned and made his way back into the crowds in search of a table. He held no high hopes for that search, though, with the way the place was looking.
Moving at a sluggish pace, the boy made his way through the crowds of people just standing in the way when, suddenly, some random little first year running through the crowds crashed into him, causing the boy to lose grip over his glass and his butterbeer to spill - right on the pages of a girl's journal.
GAAAAHH! Wide-eyed and panicked now, the goofy Gryffindor boy immediately grew flustered. "I'm sorry! Are you alright?!" Oh Merlin, what if she had been in the middle of some really important essay for Potions and he just ruined it?! (Yeah 'cause people much prefer to work on their essays in places as dark and crowded as The Hog's Head). "It was a mistake, I swear-- I just… some kid appeared out of nowhere… I'll re-write whatever you were working on and get you a new journal, I promise!"
