Nika looked wide eyed at the book. This was too strange. She watched as Emily opened the books. Nika leaned in to see what it was about. Hey, what's this?," Nika said bending down and picking up something that fell out of the book. "It looks like it fell out of the book. I wonder what it is." She handed it over to Emily, thinking maybe she could figure it out.
Emily glanced at the contents.
'Chapter one - An intro to the dark arts' before something slipped out of the cover.
Nika was the one who picked it up and handed it to her.
"It looks like a piece of really old parchment." she said turning it over in her hand
"but it's blank. That's really strange"
The paper seemed very delicate, like it could crumble in her fingers.
"What do you think?" she asked passing back to Nika, and studying the contents again.
