Actually what did Marie say? Mia couldn't remember.
"Then why did you say that Destiny was just for fun and that you were enjoying time with her?" Er...is that what he had said? Mia groaned, she wasn't sure what had been said now. The whole conversation had been bizarre.
"And stop looking at Ivan like you want to kill him or something. He's supposed to be your friend."
"With.... d... no!" James looked horrified. "Is that what you... I thought you were talking about FATE!" Which was horrible ENOUGH and he'd only gone along with it cos it was Mia and he liked her and had fond snogging memories and all.
"I haven't broken up with Marie at all.
She hasn't talked to me for a few days."

Jim looked a bit sick for a moment as Neptune stood up and left and just sort of stared after her until she was gone. This Destiny/destiny/Marie/supposed break up thing temporarily forgotten.
