Getting up slowly and heading to the nicely decorated table, Preston grabbed a Butterbeer and a Chocolate Frog before he turned back and began to make his way to his seat that he hoped was still vacant and not taken by someone else. "Th-th-thank y-you s-sir." Preston said with a nod of his head and flashing one of his trademark goofy grins.
Once back at his seat, Preston sat there, desperately hoping someone he knew, or anyone for that matter would come near him so he wasn't alone. He wasn't for sure how this meet and greet was going to turn out.
Looking around Sakura noticed a boy who looked to be quite alone. As alone as she was. Only the boy was showing it more. She should get up and talk to him, or at least sit with him so he didn't seem as alone.
Nodding to herself Sakura slipped back off her stool and made her way towards the boy. She had to dodge a few people to do so but that was okay, just as long as she didn't trip it was all good. If she did trip that would be really embarrassing, not that anyone knew her here at least if it did happen. But as a Slytherin she never wanted to appear clumsy. It was a sign of weakness. At least it was in Sakura's eyes when it concerned her own clumsiness.
"Excuse me, do you mind if I sit here?" Sakura asked softly, not sure if the boy would welcome her interruption or not. But at least she could say she tried if he did say that the seat was taken or something.
