The boy sighed and brought a paw to the side of his head. Owww. His head was starting to hurt. It was so noisy out here! Merlin! Were people shouting or was he really just getting super hearing? Either way, there were some things he did NOT need to know. Like whatever student that was complaining about having a wedgie. Oh Merlin, and now there was a couple being disgustingly cheesy and mushy somewhere by the lake.

Braeden did not need to know this stuff!

"This is horrible - I can hear everything!" said the boy dramatically. Well, it was kinda cool too. But it would definitely take some getting used to.

Hehe.

"Allright, allright..." Maya nodded, giving them a little wave, letting them know she was okay, and that they were okay, and everyone was OKAY.
Wait, had he said 'tea'? "If you get any more hurt," or get dragged up to the tree by his partner, "I'll get you a cup."
Amadeus crossed his arms over his chest in a huff. "Thank you, Professor." He nodded and spoke politely before turning on his friend. "A monkey? Really? I hope the severing spell has only affected your hearing and not your brain." He looked wrathful. How dare Braeden Stonem compare Amadeus Kipling to a monkey? He was a leopard, for Merlin's sake, and an attractive one at that! "Leopards like to climb." He murmured viciously and turned his back on Braeden, which was not too successful as they were still joined at the calves and now stood back to back.

Amadeus was a grudge-holder, and a good one at that. It was rare for him to apologize or to accept apologies as easily as the next person could. He was offended beyond belief at being compared to what he considered to be blubbering, banana-muching buffoons and took Braeden's simple statement to heart.
