Preston's eyebrows knitted together, spell mix up? He really wasn't paying too much attention. "D-don't w-w-worry about it." Preston told her with a wave of his hand. "Accidents h-happen." He told her. "And, I-I-I'm n-n-not in-injured." Preston added on, "So i-i-it's o-okay." He chuckled as he placed his elbows on the table and let his chin rest in the palm of one of his hands.

"Wh-what y-year are y-you?" Preston questioned. Clearly she wasn't a Hufflepuff, but a Ravenclaw student due to her blue robes, but he didn't know what year she was. At this point, Preston was just trying to make enough conversation to be polite. He wasn't for sure how much longer he could take of him staying awake any longer.
