Treyen's head was tilted to one side now. She was lying, for sure, there was no way he could make her feel better, even if he truly hoped he could. After all, the boy used to bring out the conversations Ellie wished never to have. Like minutes ago. And...the crying. Yeah. He raised an eyebrow.

"You wouldn't happen to have a quill with you, would you?" yes, random change of topic. Or not so random. He'd swear his head didn't seem to be focusing at all, he was supposed to be going to class after this and he only had his wand. Brilliant. Not.
