Snapping her attention up to the Professor, she almost shook her head and blurt out 'no', she didn't need any help, but...well she did.
"Actually, can I...take a look at your compass?" Mmhmm, the one she made? Noo, she wasn't going to pretend that she was the one that made it seconds later. Pffft. That was only going to happen if she tried this spell again and again and failed. Which, she definitely wasn't going to stop if she failed.
