Characteristics/History:
Ethan Miles Norton was brought up to be your typical English gentleman. The code of conduct/chivalry was a big thing for his father, and so was made to be a big thing for him and his older brothers. In his education, he was taught many things, but the biggest one was manners. He never speaks out of line, never insults or contradicts a lady, helps out those who he's meant to be loyal to, and to be a strong, independent man. Owing to these traits, it was surprising when he was placed in Slytherin, but neither Ravenclaw, nor Gryffindor seemed apt enough.

His owl, a large Eagle Owl, is far more loyal than the boy. If another child/student tries to touch Hiker, he will lash out. He refuses to be attended to by any other than Ethan. Even Ethan's older brothers weren't able to come within a metre of the creature.

He's attending his first year at Hogwarts as both his father and mother agree that the boys are not emotionally mature until they reached sixteen, to be out in a public place. With manners so polished, they hope he'll be a distinguished student amongst the rabble. Both parents were delighted at Ethan receiving a place in Slytherin as they were both members of that very house. A little more eccentric than his older brothers, Ethan always keeps a piece of fruit and a handkerchief on his person. Just in case. He rocks a tiny bit on the Asbergers scale, but it's never been seen as a bad thing to him, or any of his family.
