Well, even still, a brilliant guy like him probably knows ways to bat back all the little girls that flirt with him. That is a cool comb you got there!" Now noticing it doing its work without her help. "Truebridge is my favorite professor in the entire school. He is so awesome and everything he has accomplished emulates everything i want to do with my life when i get older. He is pretty smart to. It's crazy."
"You will be fine i promise. Before you know it guys will be all over you, you won't even know what to do with yourself. You will be just like descoteaux" JP said jokingly
"Well, I'm off to Transfiguration soon anyway, so maybe I'll learn to soon enough myself," she replied, then scoffed lightly, her voice tinged with a laugh as well.
"He probably does. Wonder what it was like when he was a
student? The girls, you know? Probably not like now, though," she said as she glanced around the room.
"Thank you!! My mum taught me.
She'd bought one, but the store she got hers from stopped selling them. Truebridge is great! You say....
everything; do you want to be a professor as well?" she inquired, leaning closer, as she was curious to hear his answer.
"Do you really think so? I don't know many guys who like girls like me at all. It's the consensus in my mum's family that men are not attracted to women who could beat them in any measurement of proficiency. A test, a race, a duel, anything like that." she replied to his last comment, not sure what exactly to think of it: to be amused, flattered, or annoyed. She unconsciously chose flattered, smiling and biting her lower lip as she sat waiting for his response, wondering if maybe her family was just very out of date. JP seemed to be friends with a lot of people, so it's not likely his opinions were unpopular either.
Maybe that's why many girls seem to like him. He was taught to be respectful, unlike my brothers.
