Luckily, Renée wasn't exactly unfamiliar with the busy work of teaching, but even so, she'd decided she needed a little break. Not a long one, as she was just taking a break from more lesson planning and grading of papers, but a break nonetheless. As such, she'd decided to head down from her tower to get some food, given all those rules about not being able to conjure food and she hadn't wanted to try and summon anything and deal with it flying all the way up all the stairwells. Therefore, heading down was the best course of action, not to mention she was sort of hoping she could have some entertaining conversation to distract her from work. She wouldn't've gotten that staying up in her office after all.

Although, as she'd headed down the steps, she'd gotten momentarily distracted. First by wondering if she ought to stop by certain other professors' offices to see if they wanted to join her, and then by the door to the trophy room. She hadn't been in there in ages, and reminiscing took her inside. Gazing at the plaques and trophies quietly, trying to see how many names she recognized, she wound her dark hair up off her neck idly before securing it with an imitation phoenix feather quill she withdrew from her robe pocket. She hadn't realized how warm she'd gotten while she'd been holed up in her office.
