Conan's eyes widened when Saylen came to the door. She was a SHE! He fidgeted slightly on the spot.

"I was given a book by..." He looked down at the teacher list.
"Madame Donovan. And I was told to read it. So I read it." He held the book up in his hand.
"I don't understand it. And it is rather gross." Oh yes. It was a good job the book didn't have pictures. That would have been far more horrifying.
"I was told to come here if I didn't understand. And I don't."
