Hmmm. "Well, he might've gotten an infection... Birds usually pluck their own feathers when stressed or sick." And Maya couldn't really see anything wrong with him, besides the baldness. But she'd have to examine him properly to be sure. After having rubbed the ointment, she petted the creature carefully. "Allright, that's done." Taking her wand, she swirled it and produced a smaller jar with the same ointment in it. "Take this and rub it on the featherless spot two times a day - one time around breakfast and then later before you head off to bed."

"Also, since he's not eating, I want you to give Bubba this tonic three times a day, into his prepared food. You will need to hand feed him with this," she got up from her seat and picked up a pipette from a drawer. "Since he's not eating well, you'll need to monitor his feeding." This might be tricky. "Have you ever done this before?"

Deciding to just ignore that question for the moment, Kurumi turned her attention back the the Professor. "Walnut is doing fine," she smiled. Sparying herself with a water bottle had really put the cat at ease. "He is thinking he is the head lion in Gryffindor now. He doesn't like it when I leave him for classes..." she paused for a moment and began combing her hair with her fingers nervously. "I-I was wondering if perhaps it would be alright if he tagged along for a Care of Magical Creatures class...I don't think he would cause any trouble."
Wishful thinking. Blink blink blink.
...and why was the young girl looking up? Why was she acting so oddly... But she seemed to get on another thinking path, but Maya would definitely keep her eyes on her. Ah, Walnut was his name, "I see. Good to hear he is doing well." The corners of her lips wanted to curl up, thinking of the spraying, but she pursed her lips to hide it.

Tag along? "I do not advise you to take your pet along, it might not react well with whatever we are doing in the lesson. Plus, it might distract you from learning." Then she shrugged lazily, "Aslong as he doesn't interrupt or bother me, I guess it's allright."

Hearing another knock on her door, Maya stood up and greeted whoever it was that had come for a visit. "Good day," Oh, ah, what was his name? "What can I...help you with?" Was it just her or did this young man look a little...bothered? She eyed him and the things he held in his hands. Hm.
