Seeing the young She-Snake reaction to her office, Sylvie hint a smile and shook her head. She would never get used to the range of reactions that she saw whilst students would visit her office. It wasn't much different than last term, but seeing that it had been changed at least three times in the last four terms, she was sure no one was accustom to it being the same with each visit.
Leaning back in her chair slightly, she reached for a drawer and opened it. Pulling out a small dish of peppermint toads and then stopped.
"Scissors?" she asked with a slightly raised eyebrow. It was a kind of strange question, but by chance she did just happen to have a pair.
Lowering her hand back into her drawer, she removed the scissors and placed them on her desk.
"A pair of scissors."
For some reason, she had a feeling this was going to be good. Destiny was always full of surprises after all. Never a dull moment when one of the She-Snakes were around.
Destiny was watching the Professor extra carefully. She wasn't quite sure how the woman would react to her question, but she did know one thing. The dish that she pulled out..did not have chocolate on it. FROWN.
The frown didn't last long, though, and Destiny nodded her head when asked about the scissors. At first she thought maybe she had said the word wrong. Everyone knows that she has a hard time pronouncing some words and scissors, that has far too many S's in it.
Like speaking Parseltongue or something.
When Professor Welton went back into her drawer, Destiny sat up straighter in the chair and unsteepled her fingers. With the scissors now placed on the desk, she stuck her hand in her pocket and pulling out a small vial, she placed it on the desk right next to them.
"I'm going to need a hair sample."
