He noticed her see it and laughed. "The charm class was brilliant! That man is brilliant. If he ever did that in class then he would officially give truebridge a run for his money for my favorite professor. It would be hard not to laugh while he was doing it. I am sure your brothers will help you become more outgoing for sure. And trust me you won't have to resort to flirting with Professors. You are not that pathetic like the other girls." JP smiled at her.
Charley laughed when he winked at her. "That's an interesting point you make there," she said curiously. "I suppose I probably
could transfigure the clothes into something else; I hadn't thought of that." She looked around the room, partly staring off into nowhere as she wondered what she could make them into. "He is brilliant, isn't he? Pity
that's not what they all find so attractive about him," she continued, elongating her 'so' in a way that sounded very much like she was mocking her female classmates. "Save for Belle, that is. She thinks he's brilliant too.
She was focused on the
game.
"That was so nice of Truebridge to give me the chocolate frog, don't you think?"
Noticing that her hair felt dishevelled again, she removed her band and got out her special comb-charmed so that it would work without her-and stuck it in the back of the red-orange mess of tangles on her head.
"Thanks. I hoped I wasn't; it's good to have some confirmation of that," she joked in reply, knowing fully well that JP's observations were indeed correct. "I'd be surprised if I flirted with
anyone before I graduate. It just seems so unnecessary, you know? Well, maybe not," she teased. He
did talk to a lot of girls. Actually, they talked to
him. It's not as if she disapproved, though; he was certainly able to make good conversation, and he was one of the nicest boys she'd met. And, having three brothers, she'd met many.
