Braeden turned from the nurse to Caroline and then back to the nurse. Well, obviously Caroline couldn't explain exactly what had happened since she couldn't really remember things clearly before the fall, so... he had no choice.

"Well, we were out in the courtyard and then... Caroline started walking on the fountain," started Braeden, looking like he was confessing a crime. It wasn't his fault Caroline had fallen in, but... well he just had a guilty conscience. "Then she fell in; hit her head and hurt her foot," he explained rather bluntly, unintentionally. "I think her memory's been a bit... affected. She, uh..." Braeden glanced over at Caroline before leaning in toward the nurse and in a lower voice explaining, "She thinks we've been dating for some time now, but we've only just met." He returned to his spot like a good little boy and hoped the nurse would be able to help them. And wouldn't mention anything about how they're not supposed to be walking in fountains in the first place.
