A hug he hadn't realized he needed and he hadn't expected at all. With some confusion and a great effort to suppress his emotions, he altered his hand to give her a one-armed hug in return, rubbing her back gently. "It's...fine. It...was a valid topic for discussion." Why was she apologizing again?
