I am attempting to go in chronological order with these drabbles, but I'm sure I will mess it up at some point. Anyways...

12. Charms

“And what hand motion is used for Wingardium Leviosa?” Professor Flitwick asked the class, glancing around at his new students. Rose’s hand shot up. She had read her Charms textbook three times already and knew the basics of all the spells. This was her chance to show her knowledge. “Mr. Malfoy, you were first.”

Rose looked back two rows. Indeed, Scorpius sat confidently with his arm in the air. “It’s a swish and a flick.” He glanced her way with a grin.

“Fantastic!” the small man seemed delighted. Well this was great. Just what Rose needed—a competitive Malfoy.
