Her fingers reached out for the paper as she looked at it. Another frown. "This is the work of a three year old. I know you can do better than that." And besides... "My hair does not look like that!" Does it? She quickly ran out into the sun where a shadow could be cast, it was her only way of seeing a somewhat reflection of what was going on with her hair. Normal!
"Me? Get jealous? Never!" Would she ever get jealous? Nahhh! She was not the jealous type.
He snorted at her as she called him one. He knew it, she knew it, and they all knew it. He grinned at her when she saw the picture. "Three year old? You couldn't draw that good when you were three." He was very very good at drawing. His father drew and so did his mother. He got both of their good traits." I just thought you would enjoy it." Nah he would enjoy it though.
He stopped walking as he grinned, seeing her go into the light. She was checking her hair as he waited."Nothing is wrong. Lets go!" He asked her as he added." If we don't go we wont be able to get the good shading under the tree. THEN your hair will look like it was fried." He was just trying to help it along.
