"St. Mungo's?" Her gaze flickered. "Did they call you there to scare patients into being fine again?" She had an easy, twinkling, laughing look in her eyes now, and it served to hide her concern.

"I," she agreed, inclining her head ever so slightly, as if to acknowledge a compliment. She paused for a second, then added, more quietly and less mischievously, "Thank you."
