As he went on in his speech about school work Selina rolled her eyes. He knew as well as she that he was not particularly interested in school work and such. He would much rather fly and hang out with his friends, which was not a bad thing because Selina would prefer to live her life similarly. Of course that was not an option with her mother and old Head Girl who would have her head if she did not perform well in school.

The more he went on with his story the less she was listening. She was a more convincing liar. When she had a gigantic spoon filled to the brim with mashed potatoes she stuffed it in her mouth. But as fate would have it Adam had just admitted to his real reason behind ditching try outs. She turned to him to exclaim that she knew it, but found that with a mouth full of food all she did was choke.

She turned to the side where she completed her coughing fit and then swallowed. When she went back to Adam she said, "Ah ha! The truth comes out."

Then it registered, the back half of his reason, "...Is everything okay Adam. And remember you are a terrible liar so you should just tell me straight up front."

It is your parents. Obviously because you have no friends here at home!We are owling(Weirdest term I have ever had to use) because we are taking you out of Weird, Freaky Wizard school where you are being taught to threaten us with the magic you are learning.Also- we are moving to Mexico City, your father has been promoted there for next year. And seeing how Weird school is million of miles away from Mexico it would be unwise to have you live on your own there-even with your sister and lost girlfriend.That is our final word and nothing you say will change our minds-we want you to be normal( Or at least, what normal is for you)
