He could only imagine how awkward the conversation would turn he was in the middle of a sentence only be interrupted by a giant BRANCH coming out of nowhere and knocking it off his feet.

When the boy had taken a step back, she took a step back. which made him a liiiiiittle closer to her since she had been trying to keep a good distance away from him

"Pureblood...you?" he asked. What did that really matter? The only people who cared about blood status were people like his father...OH MERLIN. This girl was one of THEM wasn't she?! Oh noooooooooooo. Just what he needed! To know ANOTHER Slytherin who would look at him like he was a used rag whenever he passed.

Fantastic.
Alina nodded. OF COURSE it was the height, what else would it have been? It wasn't like he had a mustache or anything else that would have made him look older. "Yes, it was the height," she replied. "How tall are you?" With her being 4'8, she was guessing he was about 5'10 (possibly an inch or two shorter).

This girl had been keeping a very good distance between the tree and her... as well as between her and Alex. What?! You never knew if this guy had some rare disease he could spread. Yet, when Alex took a step back, making him closer to her, she took another step back to equal out the distance once again. "Are you scared the tree is going to hit you?" She questioned.

This boy OBVIOUSLY was scared... and didn't like taking risks.

A little smile appeared across her face when Alex mentioned he was a Pureblood. So far, that was the only she liked about it. She would love the fact that he was Hufflepuff if she hasn't heard from others that students of that house were goody goody two shoes. AND they were tattle tales. Goody goody two shoes and tattle tales were what those Hufflepuffs were -- or so she's heard. "Pureblood," she finally answered, "and proud of it."
