Satine held out her right hand, "Well it's nice to meet you Sierra...I'm Satine Farris, sixth year Ravvie." she said with pride....she realized Sierra was a Slythie and giggled to herself...yes Satine always attracted Slythies...she still thought that the sorting hat had played a trick on her and put her in Ravvie...I mean Ravvie matched her more but all of her good friends were in Slythie.

She quickly focused back..."So how do we wanna do this?" she asked more as a statement..."What if I flip a card for you and explain it and then you flip one for me and explain and so forth...that way one of us isn't talking for forever and a day." she hoped her explanation made sense to the girl.
Sierra just continued to glance at the girl as she spoke, apparently trying to reassure Sierra...or maybe herself...that Divination just got better in time. How much time, though? A hundred years, she bet. Over-analyzing, hmm? This one was a Ravenclaw for sure. Sierra had already arrived at that minutes before the girl extended her hand and officially introduced herself.

Sierra's eyes flickered down to the girl's hand, and a moment later, she was reaching her own hand out and enclosing it around Satine's for a shake. "...first year Slytherin," she said in reply.

Satine's method sounded easy enough, even though it was nowhere near as complicated as Sierra had once made the reading out to be. She thought they were meant to do some type of spread, but if they could get away with just flipping cards over, then that was more than perfect in her eyes. "That sounds good. Alright then," she said, nodding in agreement.

The girl had mentioned herself going first, and since Sierra really didn't know what she was doing anyway, that was fine by her. She sat up straight in her chair then looked expectantly at Satine.
