Mia turned slowly away from the portrait and faced Salander just in time to see him flinch. She shook her head and heaved a deep sigh. Apparently he was never going to let her live that down.

"The portrait." She replied in a quiet voice. "What is it a picture of?" Not that she really cared at this point, she was just trying to make conversation with the Slytherin. Seeing how it was so hard to do these days.

She had this feeling that the first opportunity Sal got he was going to make a run for it, so Mia decided she best get on with it. "Look Sal. I apologise for smashing that cake into your face.
