Ella nodded. All of the witches and wizards were really interesting to look at. Especially when they were all stained-glass-window-y. "Nice to meet you too, Trina." Ella grinned, then dug into her bag for a chocolatey treat. This happened on a daily basis for Ella. Quite unhealthy really. "Do you want a chocolate frog?" She offered one out to Trina.
"What house are you in?" Ella didn't think she had seen her around the common room. But then again, she never dawdled too long in the common room herself.
Trina was not phased by the difference between their ages. She had talked to so many people that age didn't really matter. "I'm in..." she took a moment to think about it. "Fourth- fourth year," she said with a small smile. "I'm still getting used to it."
She nodded in agreement. "It's a lot different from where I went to school before. It's a lot bigger, and it's a CASTLE!" she said with a broad grin. A few students that were studying looked over at her loud tone. Wincing she lowered her voice. "It's awesome!"
At the offer of the treat, she nodded once. "Thank you," she said, taking the chocolate frog from the girl. These weren't often seen at home either- but her cousins and mom had sent them, to the joy of her classmates. "I love these things," she said, before slipping it into her mouth. "Do you collect the cards?"
She finished chewing before answering. "Gryffindor," she said with a small smile. "I haven't really gotten a chance to see where the names come from yet- they're all quite interesting. What House are you in?" she asked, setting back in the window again.
