Renée gave the class another smile as at least half of them had shot thier hands up and offered the names of cards in the Major Arcana. Instinctively, she knew it was probably due to them having learned them before, at least in the case of the older students. But then, that was part of why she'd decided to teach it in the first lesson. The Tarot was one of the easier forms of Divination to grasp, and possibly one of the least frustrating. At least, less frustrating when one wasn't dealing with what seemed to be a mini-insurrection and invisible onlookers. Either way, she wasn't going to falter. "Good job," she replied to those who had answered, ading each one to the list that had already been started. "It seems you all remember quite a bit, and an extra point to those who decided to go into a bit of detail," she added. Not to make those who hadn't feel bad, but just to give a bit of a reward to those who had felt the need.



Turning back to the class, package in hand, she took a breath before heading back to her desk. "Now that we've gotten that established, why don't we get into a bit about the spreads, as Mr. Owlwraith brought up earlier. He mentioned a few of them, but perhaps we could go into a bit more about the differences between them. The most common spread happens to be the Celtic Cross. Who wants to tell the class why that is?" A bit more discussion, and then maybe it would be time to start the practical portion of the lesson.[/COLOR]
