Selina hugged him back and tried to withhold the tears that were sure to come. It was rare that she would get this level of platonic compassion with her parents absence career wise. When you grow up alone it makes you hard and witty, but Adam Burn in a matter of moments shattered it and Selina was grasping for her toughness to not cry.
Burying her head in his shoulder she muffled out, "You were never a toughie. Need I remind you of the fetal position Adam?" Selina joked with her voice covered by the hug.
It was a nice moment and so typically them. Deep, but at the same time overly goofy and going back and forth throwing out insults in an endearing manner.

These two were so different yet so alike, they could've been fraternal twins, with their red hair, fiery attitude and random personalities, people might actually mistake them for siblings soon enough.
