Catching Up:
Chloe carefully picked out runes she thought would be best to help her with her classroom. In the the end she had 4. She was so busy deciding which runes to chose the time for explanation had come and gone. She wrote down the runes she wanted to use and the reasons why on a piece of parchment:

Uruz: That I may have the stregnth to to learn how to understand runes and the wisdom to apply them.
Ansuz: That I may have the wisdom to know exactly what I need to say when I nned to say it.
Sowillo: That I succeed in learning runes and gain the pride only achieved by a job well done
With her notes at hand and the incantation given it was time for application. Chloe took at her wand and waved it at her desk not thinking about any thing really, "Intanglio, fehu, fehu, fehu.". Nothing. She thought about why it did not work and realized concentration may be an issue. She tried it again this time concentrated a bit, "Inanglio, Fehu, Fehu, Fehu.". She saw sparks but nothing more. Chloe decided to put some real concentration on the meaning this time, "Intanglio, Fehu, Fehu, Fehu. Success. The rune was etched right into her desk. She repeated the process with her other three rune choices and before long all three were etched into her desk. Chloe smiled and then waited for the next activity.
