Not sure what made her want to head over to the Whomping Willow though because she didn't really like that violent tree but her feet had just seemed to take her there.
As she approached the tree closer, Mia spotted a boy who looked to be about her age but he could be older. These days you could never tell. He seemed to be rather engrossed in what he was reading and probably didn't want to be disturbed but Mia being the girl she was just couldn't help herself.
"Hello." She said brightly. "Quite a nice spot you've got here."
Yes, that was it. If he could put together a potion, a spell, and an arithmatic formula together with a triangular type of - Damn. Interrupted again! He glanced up at the girl who had just spoken to him. Was he that pathetic looking that everyone felt the need to speak to him, like he was some kind of charity case.
"Yes. It is. So nice and quiet", he said sharply, with much emphasis placed on the word 'quiet'. He then went back to his reading. Maybe she would get the hint if he ignored her.
