His eyes went back to his own, which was pretty much complete save for needing a bit more of a deeper imprint. With a smile, he picked it up and held it next to Arya's, noting the similarity in the curves of their runes. Was that what happened when you created something to the same beat? His grin only widened as he considered what the runes meant when they were side by side. "Together, we have created the intention of bringing about something wonderful and focusing energy to banish the negative and make room for change." 'Gaudium et Spes' indeed.
Arya was too distracted to notice the antics of the other students in the class. A good thing since she would normally find them distracting as well, and if she were to add those distractions to her current one, she would never get any work done. Her legs continued to swing as she watched Sabel's fingers traced her runes mark. It wasn't completed, nor was it correct, it was just visible enough and had just enough lines for the trained eye to distinguish what rune she was carving.
"Wonder if Truebridge will agree with that statement?" She peeked up at him with a grin. Maybe she would save this one since he seemed to like it so much. Glancing over at his rune, she realized that his, while more complete than hers, weren't exactly correct either. A grin spreading across her face when he told her the meanings of their runes together.
"Intention indeed. I don't think they would work much....but they do look pretty side by side."
